Pattaya to Koh Tao: via Bangkok or U-Tapao

Flying from U-Tapao
Bangkok Airways lists Pattaya (U-Tapao)–Samui in its route offers. This is an airport option; Pattaya city is not the airport departure point. Check your transport to U-Tapao, flight availability and the onward Samui airport transfer and ferry before booking.
Connecting through Bangkok
Another planning option is to reach Bangkok first, then take the Lomprayah coach-and-ferry journey via Chumphon. This guide has verified that onward Bangkok route; the Pattaya–Bangkok transfer must be booked and checked separately. Do not assume you arrive at the same place where the Koh Tao coach departs.
